SKILLS AND SPECIALTIES

Dr. Mobley* focuses his plastic surgery practice on cosmetic surgery of the face and breasts. He has performed over 2,000 facelifts, often combined with other forms of facial rejuvenation including, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), browlifts, rhinoplasty, fractional CO2 laser (facial wrinkle removal) and facial fat grafting. He is also a highly skilled cosmetic breast surgeon and offers breast enlargement with state-of-the-art cohesive gel implants, as well as breast lifts (mastopexy), and breast reduction surgery. His modern breast lifts are performed with a minimal incision and often incorporate a new absorbable (Galaflex) mesh for added support.

Dr. Mobley* also performs non-invasive procedures on a daily basis, including Botox®, Dysport® and the entire spectrum of dermal fillers to add facial volume and correct wrinkles and lines.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Dr. Mobley* received his B.S. degree at Texas A&M University, and completed requirements for his M.D. degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After completing his surgical internship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1987 where he completed a four-year residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Mobley* completed a full plastic surgery residency and micro-vascular surgery fellowship in 1993 at L.S.U. Medical Center in New Orleans. Seeking advanced training in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Mobley* completed an additional one-year fellowship where he received specialized, intensive training in cosmetic procedures of the face, breast and body.

Dr. Mobley* is triple board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Mobley* is a member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society For Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I broke my nose and needed a good plastic surgeon. I was given a list of 5 names from my ENT. I called two for consultations- Dr. Mobley was amazing in his meeting with me. He spent hours going over what I wanted from my rhinoplasty surgery and made several mock ups on the computer to work with me on the perfect nose. I scheduled with him. The staff is amazing and friendly. Everything about this procedure was accurate, on time and perfectly flowed. They had me well prepared for what to expect. Day of surgery was right on time with a great experience. Recovery wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t even need the pain meds prescribed, didn’t even have bruising only swelling. Anyone that’s lived in Sarasota a long time knows that Sarasota Plastic Surgery is the best in town, I’ve heard all the surgeons are excellent Dr. Mobley did my moms face lift about 15 years ago and did a fantastic job so when I needed real work done to my face (not just fillers and Botox) it wasn’t even a question on who I was going to see. Dr. Mobley performed a mini face lift with a neck lift, fat transfer to various places on my face and a laser treatment. It’s now almost 2 years later and I’m still so happy with the results. The laser created the biggest downtime. If not for that I’d have been back at work w/in a week. When having work done on your face nothing rings truer than do your research and “ you get what you pay for” and quite honestly they don’t even charge a premium there although they probably could. Not cheap but no where near what you’d pay in NY etc. He’s also one of the nicest guys in the world and his staff is all excellent. And the fact that they have their own surgical suite in their building makes the process SO much better and easier. Highly recommend Dr. Mobley!
