Dr. Michael D. Baratta, a board-eligible plastic surgeon, brings extensive training and a patient-focused approach to Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center. After earning his B.S. at the University of Florida and M.D. at Florida State University, he completed general surgery residency at Mayo Clinic Florida, followed by plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and an elite aesthetic fellowship at HKB Cosmetic Surgery in Charlotte, NC. Highly recruited nationwide, Dr. Baratta is known for natural, patient-tailored results across facial rejuvenation (facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, lip lift, facial fat grafting), breast procedures (augmentation, lift, reduction, implant removal, fat grafting), and body contouring (tummy tuck, liposuction, body lift, arm and thigh lifts, bra-line back lift, buttock lift). An active researcher, he has presented at national and regional surgical meetings, co-authored journal publications, and was awarded a scholarship to present fellowship research at the annual Aesthetic Surgery Meeting.
