Breast Enlargement Financing in Sarasota: Your Quote, CareCredit and When Payment Is Due

Most breast augmentation price searches end in a range so wide it is not much use. A more useful question is how the payment process actually works: when you get a real number, what it includes, how financing fits in, and when the balance is due. At Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center that process follows a clear sequence, from the consultation to surgery day. Here it is step by step, so you can budget with confidence before you ever sit down with a surgeon.

How You Get a Real Number: The Printed Quote

We do not quote breast augmentation without an exam, because the operation is planned around your anatomy and goals. During your consultation, one of our plastic surgeons builds a treatment plan with you. You then meet with one of our surgery schedulers, who gives you a printed quote with a complete breakdown of the fees and the total cost of your procedure, and goes through it line by line so every question is answered.

Florida patients also have the right to a personalized estimate of services. For general information on facility payments for common procedures, the state publishes service bundle data on its FloridaHealthFinder pricing site, though those figures are non-personalized and your own quote will reflect the services you actually receive.

Why Your Implant and Technique Choices Move the Total

Your quote follows your surgical plan, so the choices you make in the consultation room shape it. These are the ones that matter most:

  • Implant type. Silicone, saline and Motiva implants are all available, and the device you choose is part of the cost. Our breakdown of gummy bear implant costs in Sarasota shows how one implant category changes the numbers.
  • Adding a lift. If your breasts have dropped, implants alone will not raise them, and a breast augmentation with lift is a longer operation with a different fee.
  • Tissue support. Some patients are candidates for GalaFLEX mesh, which reinforces soft tissue during healing.
  • Operating time. Anesthesia is quoted on the estimated length of the procedure, so a more complex plan carries a higher anesthesia fee.

What the Quote Covers, and What Can Be Billed Separately

Your printed quote shows the fees for your planned surgery. A few charges can arise separately, and it is better to know about them now:

  • Extra anesthesia time. If surgery runs longer than estimated, the additional anesthesia time is billed.
  • Pathology. Any tissue removed during surgery is sent to a pathology lab, and those charges are the patient’s responsibility. Let us know in advance if your insurance prefers a particular lab, so you avoid out-of-network charges.
  • Revisions or complications. If a revision is needed, or a complication occurs after surgery, additional fees may apply.

Breast Enlargement Finance Through CareCredit

Our patient financing partner is CareCredit, chosen for its record of helping our patients obtain financing at a reasonable cost without hidden fees. CareCredit offers 0% interest financing for up to twelve months, subject to credit approval, and interest-free plans are available. Our fees and financing page links to the application and includes a payment calculator, so you can test a monthly amount before your consultation.

For surgical fees, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit or Alphaeon, cashier’s checks and personal checks. Personal checks are processed electronically through TeleCheck, and credit card checks are not accepted. If you plan to pay with a debit card, confirm your bank’s daily limit beforehand.

When Payment Is Due, and What Happens if Plans Change

Payment for surgery is due in full four weeks, or twenty-eight days, before your scheduled date. That deadline is the one to build your financing application around, since approval needs to be settled before then.

Plans sometimes change. If you cancel or postpone more than four weeks before surgery, your fees are refunded. Inside that window, administrative fees apply, and they increase as the surgery date gets closer. Your scheduler will review the full cancellation policy with you when you book, so there are no surprises.

Questions Worth Asking Your Scheduler

The quote review is your chance to remove every unknown. Bring these questions with you:

  • Which line items are fixed, and which depend on how long surgery takes?
  • If I add a lift or another procedure in the same operation, how does the total change?
  • What is the financing application deadline, given that payment is due four weeks before surgery?
  • Which follow-up visits are part of my care plan after surgery?
  • How do I let you know which pathology lab my insurance prefers?

Combining procedures in one operation is common, for example breast augmentation alongside a tummy tuck in a mommy makeover. Because the procedures share one trip to the operating room, combining them can lower total anesthesia costs compared with having separate surgeries. Your surgeon will tell you whether combining is safe for you.

Insurance and Medicare: Setting Expectations Early

Cosmetic breast augmentation is elective, so health insurance generally does not pay for it, and you should plan to cover it through savings, a card or financing. Patients on Medicare should know that Dr. Mobley, Dr. Engel, Dr. Derby and Dr. Baratta do not participate with Medicare. For cosmetic and non-covered services, all fees associated with surgery are the patient’s responsibility.

Who You Will Be Planning With

Your quote comes after a consultation with one of four board-certified plastic surgeons. Dr. Michael D. Baratta trained at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and completed an aesthetic fellowship at HKB Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Scott J. Engel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with an aesthetic fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Brian M. Derby is a Director on the Board of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. David L. Mobley is triple board-certified, including by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Whichever surgeon you see, your quote reflects their plan for your body, not a package price.

Get a Number You Can Plan Around

The fastest way to replace guesswork with a real figure is a consultation. Request your breast augmentation consultation online, or speak with our scheduling team by phone and ask any financing questions before you come in. Your printed quote and your surgeon’s recommendations will be specific to you, and so will your results.
