About the Treatment

Skin Classic is used for patients who desire to treat the following skin conditions:

  • Sebaceous Hyperplasias

  • Broken Capillaries (Telangiectasia)
  • Milia
  • Cholesterol Bumps
  • Flat hyperpigmentation spots
  • Seborhheic Keratoses
  • Cystic Acne, blemishes, and blackheads

During treatment, a small probe is used to touch the skin, which vaporizes and dries the affected area creating small crusts that heal and flake off in 3 to 15 days.  When the probe is placed on the skin, slight stinging and an increase in sensation can be felt, which dissipates quickly when the probe is lifted.

After Treatment

After a treatment session with Skin Classic, patients can expect the treated areas to look red. This does go away quickly. Over the course of a few days, the skin will crust over, flake, and peel away. The results are a fresh new layer of skin that looks and feels soft and healthy. It is important to keep the new skin growth moisturized and protected with sunscreen. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions for our patients.
