HydraFacial MD is a system that provides medical grade facials that treat common skin concerns and improve the health of the skin. The doctors at Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center customize each HydraFacial to meet the needs of the patient, including options for anti-aging, brightening, acne, and more. A HydraFacial cleanses, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin while performing exfoliation and extraction treatments. Chosen as the 2015 Best In-Office Treatment by New Beauty magazine, HydraFacial MD has also received several awards from Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Spa, a leading beauty magazine. HydraFacial is non-irritating, so it is suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.
HydraFacial MD® Reviews
Types of HydraFacials
Each HydraFacial MD is customized by the technician based on the patient’s skin needs. HydraFacials can restore the health of the skin, treat fine lines and wrinkles, treat signs of aging, brighten the complexion, deep clean oily skin, or pamper sensitive skin. Each treatment includes 5 – 6 steps with ingredients that target the patient’s concerns.
Using the unique Vortex-Fusion® system, the technician can perform all the steps of the patient’s chosen HydraFacial, from cleaning, exfoliating, extractions, and applying serums and special treatments. A HydraFacial takes about 30 minutes to complete and patients will be able to apply makeup and return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment. Patients will see visible improvements to their skin right after the treat, including a clearer, more radiant skin tone. For continued improvement and to maintain healthy skin, it is recommended that patients should get a HydraFacial every month.

What Can It Treat?
The HydraFacial is designed to improve the overall health of the skin, but specific concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, rough skin texture, oily skin, congested pores, and more can be targeted when the technician helps the patient decide which type of HydraFacial will be best for their skin type and concerns.
What makes HydraFacial MD different from other medical facials is the Vortex-Fusion delivery system. This special system allows the technicians to easily and quickly clean, exfoliate, and extract skin impurities. The Vortex-Fusion also replenishes the skin with an effective combination of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid that treat environmental damage.
Each HydraFacial will vary based on the needs of the patient, but the common steps are Vortex-Exfoliation™, Vortex-Peel™, Vortex-Extraction™, Vortex-Fusion™, and finally Extend and Protect. Some HydraFacials will include the Vortex-Boost™ with customized ingredients for the patient’s specific skin concern.
HydraFacial MD offers a line of Daily Essentials products for home use that will extend the results of the in-office treatment. Patients should ask their skincare professional for recommendations on products for their skin type and concerns. HydraFacial will visible improve the skin after one treatment, but patients can get a treatment every month for their best results.
